Evaluating product durability, reliability, and performance under controlled environmental conditions.
At GTECH, we provide professional climate and environmental testing services to evaluate product durability, reliability, and performance under controlled environmental conditions. Climate testing helps manufacturers identify potential weaknesses in product design, materials, and performance before products are deployed into real-world operating environments.
Our climate testing solutions simulate a wide range of environmental conditions including extreme temperature, humidity, thermal cycling, vibration, corrosion, dust, and water exposure. These evaluations help ensure products maintain safe and reliable performance throughout their operational lifecycle. Environmental testing is widely recognised as an essential part of product validation, compliance, and reliability assessment across industrial, automotive, electrical, electronic, and consumer applications.
Climate testing enables manufacturers to verify that products can withstand harsh environmental conditions during transportation, storage, and daily operation. Early identification of performance limitations allows product improvements to be implemented during the development stage, reducing the risk of operational failures, product recalls, and warranty claims.
Climate testing also supports compliance with international regulations and industry standards, helping businesses improve product quality, strengthen customer confidence, and gain access to global markets. International testing and certification organisations widely use environmental simulation testing to validate product safety, durability, and operational reliability.
Lansmont Shock Tester 95/115
GTECH’s environmental testing laboratory is equipped with advanced climate simulation systems capable
of reproducing both single and combined environmental conditions for product reliability evaluation.
Our facilities support comprehensive environmental assessments involving temperature extremes,
humidity exposure, thermal shock, vibration, corrosion, and accelerated weathering conditions
to determine product fitness for use under demanding operating environments.
These evaluations help manufacturers identify potential weaknesses in materials, structural integrity,
and product performance during the development and validation stages. By simulating real-world
transportation, storage, and operational environments, GTECH assists companies in improving
product durability, minimising failure risks, and ensuring long-term operational reliability.
Climatic Test Chamber
Temperature and Climate Testing in accordance with IEC 60068-2-1, IEC 60068-2-2, and ISO 16750-4
standards is conducted using CSZ Walk In Chambers, ACS Walk In Chambers, and Climatic Test Chambers
to evaluate product performance under controlled low and high temperature conditions.
These simulations are designed to assess the ability of products, components, and materials to
maintain stable operation during exposure to extreme climatic conditions commonly encountered
during transportation, storage, and field operation. The testing process allows manufacturers
to evaluate thermal stability, material behaviour, and overall product reliability before
commercial deployment.
Tabai Humid Chamber PSL-2G
Humidity and Damp Heat Testing following IEC 60068-2-30 and IEC 60068-2-78 standards are carried out
using Climats Temperature & Humidity Chambers, Envirotronics FLX900 systems, and Tabai Temperature &
Humidity Chambers to simulate high-moisture operating environments and condensation exposure.
These environmental simulations help evaluate product resistance against moisture-related degradation,
corrosion, insulation failure, and operational instability caused by prolonged humidity exposure.
GTECH’s controlled humidity testing capabilities support manufacturers in verifying long-term
product reliability and performance consistency under tropical, high-humidity, and fluctuating
environmental conditions.
SUGA Carbon Arc Chamber S80HB
For corrosion and outdoor durability evaluations, Salt Spray Corrosion Testing based on ASTM B117
standards is conducted using KTS Salt Spray Chambers, while Accelerated Weathering and UV Exposure
Testing following SAE J2412 and SAE J2527 standards are performed using Atlas Ci3000 systems,
QUV/Spray Accelerated Weathering Testers, and SUGA Carbon Arc Chambers.
These testing solutions are designed to simulate prolonged outdoor environmental exposure,
including ultraviolet radiation, moisture, oxidation, and corrosive atmospheric conditions
that may affect product durability and material performance over time. The evaluations help
manufacturers assess resistance against fading, cracking, corrosion, coating degradation,
and structural deterioration to ensure products maintain reliable performance throughout
their intended service life.
These testing capabilities are supported by GTECH’s calibrated environmental simulation systems and laboratory equipment to help manufacturers improve product reliability, ensure compliance, and strengthen market confidence.
